Learn More About The ABA
The American Booksellers Association (ABA) is one of the country's oldest national trade associations. The ABA offers advocacy, education and other book-industry-related information and services to independent booksellers. With four different membership categories (Regular, Provisional, Associate and Auxiliary), the ABA has a support package suitable for everyone from large retailers to industry professionals that are not actually booksellers. Every year, the ABA hosts a wide array of events designed to educate and inform booksellers while also giving them unique opportunities to network with other successful professionals in the industry. The ABA also exerts its influence via publications like Bookselling This Week (BTW) and its Book Buyer’s Handbook.
